Explaining the Basics of How Swine Flu Spreads

By Cathy Spencer

Most of the stories about the swine flu have focused on where it's been found and identifying the specific strain. But your viewers and users still want to know the basics of how it is spread.

This segment from Good Morning America explains the classic "sneeze" and how germs, including swine flu, can be transmitted from person to person. It provides a visual context of how far particulates from a sneeze can travel combined with a 3-D graphic animation of how the germs spread from a sneeze. This well-produced story is perfect in your morning newscast and/or as user-friendly web content.
