Stay on Top of the Stimulus Bill Trickle Down

The Stimulus Bill is now law after weeks of debate on the right way to go. Take the cue from the long Presidential campaign and interest in truth squading politics by users and viewers. They are interested in this type accountability story. People are very curious how their money is being spent from 401K's to Stimulus dollars.

You don't have to wait for your network to check if the Stimulus Bill trickles down to create jobs and address the larger agenda of energy saving measures. Assign a regular beat Reporter to monitor how this money is being spent and who really benefits. CNN's Drew Griffin covers the debate whether a small Missouri town's bridge should be rebuilt v. whether "larger pie" money should be sent to nearby cities like St. Louis for jobs and housing.

Many feel this watchdog role could have been more proactive monitoring the government and banks in the past. Provide response showcasing online to get their feedback and ideas on other storylines to probe.
