Reporting Beyond the "Horserace" in the 2008 Campaign

Reporters like ABC's Brian Ross have helped their network build image and a following during the 2008 Campaign for President by aggressive "truth squading" of issues v. the daily reporting of polls and the proverbial "horserace." Hillary Clinton, for example, claims to be much more concerned and supportive in her career for the average middle class worker.

Brian Ross looks back at her role on Wal-mart's Board of Directors and examines what she stood for v. what Wal-mart's practice was. Among other things, he cites there is an ongoing class action suit by 1 million women for lack of advancement in the workplace.
