Tips for the 2006 Tax Season

With much of the country in a deep freeze, many of us will use the forced indoor time to turn our attention to those W-2s and 1099s which have begun to appear in our mailboxes.

Tax day is April 17 this year. According to an article on MSN.com, depending on how you file you can expect delays receiving your refund. So, the number one tip for filing your 2006 taxes is prepare early.

MSN has prepared a special tax section on its Money web site, which offers great resources to help you get ahead of the filing curve and keep more money in your pocket.
